Questions
How is this different from regular fantasy football?
There's no draft and no waiver wire. Every week you pick a fresh lineup from that week's college games, and anyone can pick anyone. The catch: once you've used a player, he's gone for you for the rest of the pool.
How does scoring work?
Points come from real box-score stats: 0.04 per passing yard, 4 per passing TD, 0.1 per rushing or receiving yard, 6 per rushing or receiving TD, 1 per reception, and −2 for interceptions and fumbles lost. Commissioners can change any of these for their pool.
When do picks lock?
Your commissioner chooses: every slot locks at the week's first kickoff, or each player locks when his own game kicks off. Nobody sees anyone else's picks until they lock.
Which players can I pick?
During the regular season, players from Power 4 teams (ACC, Big 12, Big Ten, SEC) and Notre Dame who have a game that week. In the College Football Playoff, players from every team still in the bracket.
How do I join a pool?
College Football Burn is in beta, and pools are invite-only for now. Ask your commissioner for the invite link, then sign in with Google.
Does College Football Burn handle money?
No. College Football Burn doesn't collect or hold money. Commissioners can mark who has paid, and that's it.
